The following are the people that I think make the most logical sense and been hinted to some extent so far to join or at least be potential candidates to join the Straw Hats after the arc finishes. This is just my opinion. I could be completely wrong, so people please keep that in mind, that being said please let me know what you guys think.
Bellamy
Luffy considers him a friend (he seems to feel the same way about Luffy) to the point he stick his neck out for him and even called him a friend. He like the rest of the Straw Hats to some extent has a said past and after this arc is over it seems he won't have anywhere else to go since his childhood idol, now his Captain told him is trash and that's all he will ever be. Also, his dream to make Donflamingo aka "Joker" the king of the Pirates has been destroyed. Once, Luffy helps him he can easily change his dream to making Luffy instead the Pirate King. I actually wouldn't want him to join. I actually would prefer it if he became either an ally or one of Luffy's commander that watches over his territories (in the future, if he does end up claiming islands/ territories as his own) but who knows, Oda -san does what Oda-san wants.
Viola
She is beautiful and she seems strong what else can I say. If she joins she would be useful as a scout/ spy (although Sanji and Robin are more then capable of being spies), since her DF lets her see the truth inside people's mind, see through things and people, her tears turn into deadly giant whales and she has a cool power that let's her see 4000 km in all directions, which makes it hard to land a sneak attack on her or whoever or whatever she's protecting.
Rebecca
She's an undefeated gladiator and the daughter of the Royal Army Commander, Kyros, the Legendary gladiator. Luffy seems to really like her and like the rest of the crew she has a sad past. Although, her dream is to live with Mr. Soldier, making it a simple dream which does not require to go to sea. In my opinion I actually wouldn't want her to join unless she decides that it ok to hurt people who she knows are truly evil cause if not we won't get to see much action from her.
Monet
I know Monet is suppose to be dead since her heart go stab and all but this is One Piece people usually don't die, specially when they seem to be important characters to some extent. Besides, there are too many things that was never clarified such as who threw the crumble note to Chopper during the Punk Hazard arc() and why did she let Chopper go and did not even try to warn Ceasar about him.
Bartolomeo
He seems to really love the Straw Hats and he has the power to make any size barrier. He is not as strong as the Monster Trio (Luffy, Zorro, Sanji) but he is a force to be recon with. He's so strong he barley had to lift a finger during his Colosseum block fights in order to win. His dream would be or is to be a Straw Hat and make Luffy the Pirate King. Like, Bellamy I would prefer it if he became just an ally or a commander that watches Luffy's territories in the future.
Jinbei
He promised Luffy he will join after he resolve his business with Big Mom. He is extremely powerful, is a fisherman with the ability to summon whale sharks, and is suitable for the helmsman job, and capable of helping all the SH with DFs.
